Afterwood has a dedicated fleet of vehicles with a range of different trailers and delivery methods that supply each customer’s needs.

We transport bulk material primarily on walking floor trailers. Other options can be on a tipper, palletised haulage or specialist vehicles for blowing material directly in a particular area – for example, this is a common method for delivering pellets to chicken farms.

If you have an installation in place or are planning one, you should take into account where your nearest fuel supplier is. If you have a relatively large boiler then it may be you only need a delivery once a year. However, if you need more frequent fuel then having a supplier within a 50 mile radius is a much better idea, especially with wood chips. Afterwood is based in Lincoln and can supply the counties of Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire. With wood pellets the location is not as important and large quantities can be transported easily throughout the UK.

Global Distribution

We work very closely with a number of organisations in Europe and worldwide who are producing similar products and also their own specialist materials.

We work directly with ship owners and ports for import and export, and our dedicated fleet can handle large volumes to and from the port.

As of September we will be getting a new supplier of Wood Pellets from Poland. This means we will be able to provide larger shipments and much more economical savings on large amounts of wood pellets.
