All of Afterwood’s logs are seasoned to help retain their excellent burning qualities. They are chosen from virgin round wood timber and are chopped to size. Our logs are suitable for all domestic wood burning stoves and open fireplaces.

Being seasoned means that they are kept in dry conditions away from contamination and can be delivered in bulk on one of Afterwood’s tipper trucks. It really depends on what space you have and the amount of logs you require. But whatever the need, we can fill it!  

Seasoned hardwood Logs from Afterwood create that warmth and ambience which, makes for the perfect  happy home. Plus you have the advantage of slow burning economical fuel, without the smoke of a coal lit fire.

Afterwood’s logs are seasoned in dry conditions and cut from virgin round timber. They are cut to your size requirements and are suitable for all open fires and almost all wood burning stoves and fires.

Our Seasoned Hardwood Logs are sourced locally and naturally air-seasoned to provide excellent burning qualities, at a cost effective price. 

Delivery

Our logs are delivered palletised on one of our lorries. We are able to supply you with either our small bulk bags depending on your requirements and they will be delivered to your address via a pelletised lorry. In choosing this delivery option Afterwood are able able to save you money by loading one lorry with a number of bags, leading to less travelling time. 

Applications

Applications for the use of seasoned logs are just as flexible and versatile as Afterwood’s other wood fuel products. 

Hardwood logs are air seasoned naturally at our premises. Wood types are dependant on availability and different woods have different burning characteristics affecting heat output, burn time and smoke quality.

Applications include:

  • Domestic fuel for open fireplaces
  • Fuel suitable for wood burning stoves.
